La Galbana is a self contained complex of seven small apartments built on four floors perched on the edge of the medieval quarter of Vejer. From every angle you will enjoy magnificent views over the old town, the Bay of Zahara, the La Janda ‘laguna’ & the Tangiers coastline on the other side of the straits of Gibraltar. 

The apartments are organised around a series of communal living spaces including the swimming pool, a garden courtyard & three different levels of terraces each with views across open countryside & the coast. Their southern orientation means you will enjoy sun most of the day even in early spring & late autumn.  Each apartment has its own style, each with a slightly different orientation & different sizes.

   

The Galbana studio apartments are designed for easy living for 2 people. Although with some variations each one has a living room with large french windows, dining area space, open plan kitchen & a bathroom with combined bath & shower. All rooms are well equipped with simple furnishings & have electric radiators for colder months, 2 apartments have wood burning stoves. The spaces are bathed in natural light all day & the large windows play an important part in bringing the exterior spaces into the interior.

There are no televisons in the apartments in order to maintain the peace & tranquility of the environment however there is a small games & TV room available for all clients.

All apartments comprise living spaces as mentioned above & they have a total space (including bathrooms) of about 35m2. (115sq.ft). Pool level is the entry level. Each studio has the following characteristics:

1 Pool level. Overlooks the pool area. Views over town.
2 Pool level. Duplex with small private terrace. Views to country & coast.
3 Middle floor. Views to country & coast.
4 Bottom floor. Shares terrace with G6. Views to country & coast.
5 Bottom floor. Shares terrace with G5. Views to country & coast.
6 Pool level. Overlooks the pool area only.
7 Top floor. Private terrace & 270º views.


The main focal point of the Galbana is the central courtyard with its mediterranean borders, olive tree & swimming pool. From this courtyard lead off the stairways to all other areas. All levels have terraces with views. The traditional white of the exteriores, the hand made brick floors, the green of the palm trees & scented creepers all combine to create the perfect blend of mediterranean calm.

The pool size is: 5m.x 3m. and is 1,7m. at its deepest point
